Yolanda’s Tacos is built on a foundation of authentic Mexican tradition. In the summer of 1971, founder Bob Walker met Yolanda Lopez, a native of Jalisco, Mexico, in Chula Vista, California. As they became friends, Yolanda, a retired woman, affectionately referred to Bob as her “gringo” son and took him under her wing. She lovingly taught him the art of preparing traditional Mexican food and salsas, sharing recipes passed down through generations.

In honor of this cherished friendship, Yolanda’s Tacos was born, carrying forward the traditions and flavors that were shared. Today, we serve the fresh, authentic Mexican food learned from Yolanda, made daily with the same care and attention to detail. Yolanda's is a staple of the downtown Castle Rock area, located near festival park with many areas to shop and walk. Throughout the summer you can enjoy live music in the park, community activities and even Yoga. Join us in the heart of downtown Castle Rock, Colorado.
